01 What we collect

Browsing this site requires no personal data. We only obtain what you actively provide, in the following cases:

  • Enquiry form: your name, company, email address, and the part numbers and requirements you enter.
  • CPS Portal account request: your name, company, work email address, and the device categories you want to be notified about.
  • Anything you provide when contacting us by email or telephone.

02 Technical data collected automatically

We record connection addresses and on-site browsing behaviour for traffic analysis and site improvement. This data is analysed only in aggregate, is not linked to a specific individual, and is not used to identify anyone.

03 Purpose and scope of use

The data you provide is used internally by CPS for its original purpose only: answering your enquiry, providing a quotation, fulfilling a commission, and — where you have requested it — sending notifications about new reports.

Except where explained to you in advance, or required by law or a competent authority, CPS does not provide your personal data to third parties or use it for any other purpose.

04 Confidentiality of commissioned work

The part numbers you ask us to analyse, the scope of analysis and related correspondence are treated as trade secrets, to the same standard as the deliverables themselves.

Work commissioned under an Exclusive licence is not supplied to anyone else and never appears in the public report library on this site.

05 Cookies

This site may use cookies to provide a service better suited to your needs. A cookie is a technology by which a web server communicates with your browser and may store information on your computer.

You can disable or limit cookies in your browser settings. Doing so does not prevent you from reading the main content of this site.

06 Data security

CPS protects personal data with reasonable technical and procedural safeguards, and limits the people who may access it.

07 Your rights

In respect of personal data held by CPS about you, you may request access, review, a copy, supplementation or correction, cessation of collection, processing or use, or deletion.

To exercise these rights, or if your details change or you find an inaccuracy, email info@cps-i.com and we will act promptly. You may also ask us to stop sending you messages at any time.

08 External links

This site may contain links to other websites. CPS is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any site it does not operate.

09 Changes to this policy

CPS may revise this policy at any time and will publish the revision on this site. We suggest reviewing it periodically.
