Careers

We are looking for people to build the next part with us

CPS has been running since 2008, and the lab, the analysis software and the operations system are all our own. Going further needs more people.

What working at CPS is like

Here is how we actually operate, so you can judge the fit.

The tools are ours, so they can change

BrigenOne is written in house. When something gets in the way of the engineering, raising it can put it in a release — you are not waiting on a vendor.

The process leaves a record

Every project runs through CPS Portal and errors are tracked to a named engineer. Good work is visible and mistakes are not hidden — we think that is fair in both directions.

Dense technical exposure

From 3nm processes to 3D flash with more than 128 layers. Few places put this range of physical silicon in front of you.

Open positions

Three quite different kinds of role — see which matches your situation.

01

International agents

Partnership RemoteAny region

We have customers across North America, Europe and Asia, but local presence and service remain thin. We are looking for firms or individuals with an existing customer base in semiconductors, IP or intellectual property to represent CPS analysis services.

What you would do

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships in your region
  • Help customers define scope and interface with the CPS engineering team
  • Support local commercial dealings and after-sales communication

What we are looking for

  • An established customer network in the semiconductor industry
  • A working grasp of the commercial logic of IC design or IP
  • Willingness to hold strictly to customer confidentiality
02

Sales

Full time Mainly work from homeFlexible hoursCommission per project

Developing new customers and looking after existing ones. Mainly working from home, serving customers through CPS Portal — quotations, project status and deliverables all live in the system, so there is no trip to the office to look something up. You set your own hours, and pay is commission on the projects you bring in. The job needs someone who can follow what an engineer is saying; you do not need to perform circuit analysis, but you do need to relay technical requirements without distorting them.

What you would do

  • Develop new customers and build long-term relationships with existing ones
  • Agree analysis scope with customers in CPS Portal and produce quotations with the engineering team
  • Track project progress through the system and handle the commercial side

What we are looking for

  • A science or engineering background, or sales experience in semiconductors
  • Able to discuss technical detail with engineers accurately
  • Business-level English
  • Self-directed — remote work means nobody is watching, and the results are yours

Circuit analysis quality engineers

Contract / per project Work from homePaid per projectTraining provided

Not performing the analysis from scratch, but assessing completed reports: judging whether the reading is sound, and annotating key circuits with the relevant patents and academic papers — so a report says not only what the chip looks like but where the approach comes from and how the field regards it. Work from home, no daily commute, paid per project. Suited to engineers with an analog or digital background who know their way around the literature, including experienced engineers who have retired or are changing direction.

What you would do

  • Review circuit analysis reports and assess whether the reading and architectural description hold up
  • Find and annotate the relevant patents and academic papers for key circuits
  • Suggest changes that make a report more complete and more readable
  • Feed findings back to the analysis team and into the quality process

What we are looking for

  • Able to read analog or digital IC circuits
  • Familiar with searching and interpreting patent or academic literature
  • Careful and able to sustain focus — the value of this work is in its accuracy
  • Willing to be trained on our platforms (BrigenOne and CPS Portal — we provide it)

How to apply

No application form. An email is enough to start.

  1. Write to info@cps-i.com with the role in the subject line.
  2. Attach a CV or short profile. Agents, please outline your current customer sectors and region.
  3. We follow up by email or video call before arranging anything further.

For contract engineers we usually start with one small real project to see how the collaboration works, and discuss anything longer term only once both sides are comfortable.

Interested, or just want to talk first

If you are not sure which of these fits, write and describe your background and we will work it out together.
